Does anyone know if the 50% travel discount card can be used on a 6 day cable car area pass? or does this only apply to day tickets?

I assume you're referring to the Swiss Half Fare Card. Which "6 day cable car area pass" are you referring to exactly? There are lots of regional passes, so if you have a specific name and area, that will be helpful. Thanks :-)!
