    hi
i have obtained quotations from various car rental companies @ geneva airport, and found rentals on french side of airport to be cheaper than compared with swiss side.

i will be staying near Montreux for week on 1st week of september. so does it makes diffirence in any ways if i hire car from french side n take it into switzerland. does it require to pay any additional tax or charges to take it to swiss

    Hi mahiya001,

I don’t think it makes a difference. Just check whether a French rental car has a Swiss motorway vignette on its windshield. Have you seen the advertisement on the left side of our homepage? Perhaps they offer good prices.
