Plan on taking the trains from Zermatt to Lugano with a change in Demossola. What does than involve? Saw somewhere that there was lots walking and stairs involved. Thanks, Jim

Many years ago the Centovalli line was put underground at the Domodossola end (and later also at the Locarno end. At Domodossola, there is a set of stairs at the south end of the main line platforms. The walk and stairs is OK except for anyone with limited mobility
