Hi im trying to get from Grindelwald terminal to Jungfraujoch. I understand that after the Eiger Express a cogwheel train needs to be taken to the top of the mountain. Does the Swiss Travel Pass cover this/ provide a discount? If not can cogwheel tickets be purchased on the day or can it be purchased online? Sorry if this question has already been answered!

    thank You

    Thank you.

just a quick question for “From Eigergletscher to Jungfraujoch: 25% off” this service is a cog car based on the info on the other swissalps pages. Do you know the name of this service ?

also having checked the live webcams of jungfrau do you know the difference between jungfraujoch ostgrat and just jungfraujoch? Which view point would we be viewing from as the ostgrat one seems to be more foggy than the other one

    cheers

    Hi Bakeadept,

From Eigergletscher to Jungfraujoch, you’ll be taking the Jungfraubahn cogwheel train.

The train takes you directly to Jungfraujoch. There is an observation deck at the top and you are allowed to step outside to take pictures and enjoy the 360 degree views. You can find more details about facilities at the top here: http://www.myswissalps.com/jungfraujoch

    Regards,

    Anna
