We are planning to buy the 4day Swiss travel pass. We will arrive on May 3 to Basel SBB at 1026am. Hotel is located in Lauterbrunnen. Originally we plan to depart from Lauterbrunnen to Domodossola on May 7 in the morning. Will it be still covered by the Swiss travel pass or it is just valid until May 6? And can we buy the Swiss travel pass in Basel SBB station?

    Thank you so much!

    Hi Toni,

No, it is valid by date. In your case May 3, 4, 5 and 6 only. Well it is technically valid until 5am on May 7…

You can buy the Swiss Travel Pass at Basel train station. But it is much easier and faster to buy it online. That way you don’t have to go into an office to wait in line (and you have an electronic back up in case you lose it). 🙂

    Lucas,

Wow! Great! Thank you so much, so it means i can still use the swiss travel pass for May 6 for Lauterbrunnen to Domodossola departing at 21:32 and the arrival is 00:54?

Ya, as long as you finish a train trip by 05:00 May 7. You are all set!
