Domodossola to Brig advice

    Hi

    I’m travelling in a party of 2 adults + 2 children (ages 11, 13)

    I have tickets booked with Italian rail from Milan to Domodossola (EC56). I have swiss half fare cards and family cards. I want to pre purchase tickets to Brig and stay on the train. Do I have to purchase tickets for the kids (ages 11, 13) on the SBB website or will they travel free?

    Would the same apply to journeys from Zermatt to Interlaken and Interlaken to Zurich?

    Sure, the children travel for free on all routes where the Swiss Half Fare Card is valid: myswissalps.com/ swisshalffarecard/ validity.
