Enjoying the Bernese Oberland in 1 day

Hi,

Below is my itinerary.

Sep 30th - Reach Zurich hotel by 8 pm

Oct 1st - Zurich - Lucerne (Mt Titlis) - Head to Wengen for overnight stay in hotel

Oct 2nd - Day to spend in BO and return back to zurich hotel

Oct 3rd - Zurich to Lucerne (Mt Rigi, Lake ride and explore lucerne)

Oct 4th - Fly Back home

We cant cancel our zurich hotel which is booked for entire stay. we booked extra day in wengen so we save travel time for that day. We have swiss pass from Oct 1 - Oct 3

I have a 4.5 year old. not planning to do jungfrau. Per above, I have Oct 2nd to spend in BO. I want to enjoy the natural beauty of the BO region. need recommendations on what to do. Lakes, small trek (1 mile or so), beautiful rustic villages, valley with a view, boat trip) starting from wengen. I need to get back to zurich by night.

You'll find lots of suggestions on myswissalps.com/ berneseoberland/ activities. A few suggestions:

• Cable car from Wengen to Männlichen, walk to Kleine Scheidegg, train back to Wengen;
• Boat trip Lake Brienz;
• Walk from Grütschalp to Mürren, perhaps a visit to Mount Schilthorn too.
