If purchasing this pass, would it work the same way as the Swiss Travel pass? We would be able to use all transportation that the Swiss Pass uses and also get the museum discounts as well?

Hi JHStubbs,

If you plan to travel in multiple countries in Europe (not just Switzerland), the Eurail Global Pass will suit you. We usually recommend getting one of the Swiss railpasses such as the Swiss Travel Pass if you want free unlimited travel on Switzerland’s public transport, and also take advantage of discounted museum passes (the Eurail Global Pass does not have this feature).

Another benefit of getting the Swiss Travel Pass is you get better discounts on some mountain railways, cable cars and lake cruises too.
