My wife and I will be travelling in Switzerland for 14 days. September 12-26. We will be starting in Geneva on the 12th and finishing in Zurich on the 26th when we will be leaving Basel on a river cruise. My question is “can I forward one piece of luggage on to Zurich from Geneva on the 12th and they would store it until we arrive on the 26th.

Hi GRod and welcome to MySwissAlps!

Yes, there are luggage forwarding options for you and they can hold your bag for a fee at Zurich main train station (1st 4 days free, then 5chf per day).

Find more details, and links to SBB’s website on luggage here: http://www.myswissalps.com/tr ain/practical/luggage
