Getting to Hammetschwand lift

    Hi Team,

    Can you confirm if we can get to this by boat from Lucerne (June 2018) (I think there maybe an SCV Ship that goes from Lucerne to Burgenstock) and if the travel is free with the STP. Any information you can provide will be appreciated.

    Hello Sandra,

    This is on my bucket list but no one has mentioned doing this trip since the Funicular from Kehrsiten (where the boat arrives) to Burgenstock.

    See http://www.buergenstock.ch/en /leisure/hammetschwand -lift. It’s a 35 minute scenic walk from Burgenstock Resort to the base of the lift. Although with all those rich folk up there now they may have golf buggies or something (joke).
