Good vegetarian restaurants in Zermatt and Zurich

Short summary – read this first

A traveler is planning a trip to Zermatt with three friends in late November. They need suggestions for good dinner restaurants that cater to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences, avoiding tourist spots and buffets. They are considering dining at Omnia and are seeking other recommendations for the rest of their stay.

Key takeaways:
  • The Omnia is a potential dining option to consider during your stay.
  • Check out Happy Cow for vegetarian restaurant options in Zermatt.
  • Zermatt.com also provides a list of restaurants that may suit your dietary needs.
  • Some travelers recommend Hiltl in Zurich for vegetarian meals, but you should focus on options in Zermatt.

Four of us will be in Zermatt in late November. One of us is a vegetarian and can’t eat fish or seafood. Another is a vegetarian but prefers fish and seafood. The remaining 2 don’t have dietary restrictions. We are looking for good restaurants for dinner. Not tourist places or all you can eat buffets. We are considering the Omnia for dinner one evening and would like to know if anyone has eaten there but need other options for the remaining days.
