    Hello,

Can you please tell me if the Half Fare card includes the trip from the Zurich airport to Interlaken and back? Or is it only the 50% discount?

If so, then could you please tell me if purchasing the Half fare Card and the 4 or 5 Day Jungfrau pass is the best option for the following itinerary:

May 30 – Zurich to Interlaken

May 31 – June 3: Wengen, with trips to Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn and small towns (Grindelwald, Murren, etc.)

    June 3 – 4: Interlaken

June 4: Train from Interlaken back to Zurich.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

    -JF

    Hi JF,

You will get 50% discount with the Swiss Half Fare Card.

I’m not sure if you need a Swiss Half Fare Card. Maybe a point-to-point ticket will do for the trip Zurich airport – Interlaken? There is only one way to know for sure: plan your itinerary in detail, including all trips by train, bus, boat and cable car and compare costs..

There is information and a spreadsheet here to help you: ‘How to choose a Swiss rail pass‘.
