Dear members,

I am flying to Zurich tomorrow at noon. Bought a Swiss Travel Pass previously. Would you have any advice on the detailed route from the airport to Grindelwald station.

This is my first time in Switzerland and so am seeking your advice to prevent any errors along the way.

Hi slith,

To find the route from Zürich airport to Grindelwald, use the Swiss Timetable:

Zürich airport is called “Zürich Flughafen” in the timetable. The station you want in Grindelwald is just “Grindelwald”.

The timetable will generate the fastest route by default, which goes via Bern. If you would prefer to take the more scenic route via Luzern/Lucerne and the Golden Pass route over the Brünig Pass, put “Luzern” into the “via” field of the timetable search. The scenic route takes about an hour longer.
