My husband and I will be in Switzerland for 4 weeks; travelling by train: Zurich/Basel ret., Basel /St Urban ret., Basel/Grindelwald ret., Basel/ Chiasso ret.
Is it worth our while to purchase a rail pass and if so which one would be the best. Should we purchase it in Australia.
Anything else you can recommend?
Cheers Noels and Pete

Hi Noels and Pete,

It sounds like you need either a 1-month Swiss Saver Flexi Pass or a 1-month Swiss Saver Pass. Just follow the links for all details and purchase options.

If you stay in an hotel in Basel, you'll get free local public transport even without a pass. More details are here.
