    Hello,

We planned to travel Jungfraujoch from Interlaken on 26th July 2019. Since it is peak time, should we book the train tickets and seat reservation before even coming to Switzerland. For me booking in advance without knowing the weather is a concern.

On 27th July 2019, we plan to take a train from Interlaken to Lucerne. Since it is a golden pass line, can we board the train without reservation or is it advisable to buy a reservation.

On 28th July 2019, we plan to go to Mt.Titlis. Can we buy the cable car tickets at Engelberg or Lucerne or should we book in advance.

We have gone through the forum for planning the trip, it’s very helpful.
Need few clarifications on the above.

    Thanks in advance,
    Srividya

    Welcome to MySwissAlps, Srividya!

Generally it’s wise to wait until you’re pretty sure that weather is good enough to visit Jungfraujoch and Titlis. You can keep an eye on the weather forecast and reserve seats for your Jungfraujoch trip a couple of days ahead. It’s not required, but you may feel reassured that you’ll definitely have a seat if it happens to be very crowded. Reservations for Titlis aren’t possible. You can buy your tickets in advance, but that doesn’t guarantee a place for a specific departure time. Please refer to

The Golden Pass line between Lucern and Interlaken doesn’t require reservations: myswissalps.com/golden pass/tickets.

Glad to hear our website has been useful so far!
