Hello everyone!

Usually I read that we should go up to the klein matterhorn in the early morning, but I have just read the forecast of today “After clouds with light snowfall in the morning variable clouds with isolated snow showers will dominate for a time. The afternoon will bring mainly cloudless weather. Morning temperatures will be around -5 °C. During the day they will rise to a maximum of -4 °C. We have moderate to brisk northerly wind with strong gusts.”

Our plan was to the klein matterhorn first then gornergrat, should we switch between them as the forecast says it is cloudless in the afternoon?

Well, in any case you’ll decide to visit either the Gornergrat or the Klein Matterhorn in better and the other in worse weather conditions. I don’t think you should worry about it too much, just visit both places and enjoy whatever they have to offer at that moment. Snowfall can also be a wonderful unique experience…!!
