There is information here to help you – see in particular under the Route tabs, which explain how to get there.

    http://www.myswissalps.com/pi latus

The cogwheel train from Alpnachstad to Pilatus Kulm closes for the winter from 19 November 2018 until early/mid May 2019, but you can still go up and back on the cableway between Kriens and Pilatus Kulm

    http://www.myswissalps.com/ri gi

All modes of transport to the Rigi will be operating when you are there.

You can use the Swiss Timetable to plan your trips.

    Hi Hansaria,

If you enter Pilatus to Rigi on the timetable it will show you the quickest way to get there (going via Lucerne is the quickest).

Normally, from the town of Brienz, you can take an 11 minute boat ride to Geissbach Falls yes. But the boat isn’t operating in the winter (late October until March). https://www.myswissalp s.com/boatlakebrienz

If you check the timetable from Brienz, See to Geissbach Falls, See you won’t get any boat connectionos but you can go by bus from Brienz to Geissbach. The Tell Pass Winter does not cover Lake Brienz. Only travel from Luzern to the town of Brienz. https://www.myswissalp s.com/tellpasswinter/v alidity

    >> i am not finding any rail from brienz to giessabach

That’s right. There is no railway line on that side of the Brienzersee (Lake Brienz). The train runs along the opposite shore.

The boats on the Brienzersee only run until 21 October 2018 and don’t start running again until the end of March 2019. The funicular between the boat wharf and the Grandhotel Giessbach doesn’t run after 21 October either.

The Giessbach Falls is not really a suitable destination for November.

Dear Lucas Sir, we largely benefitted by your and alpenrose Sir and other experts advices , so its all fine….As i stated that on 23rd Nov be visiting from Basel to Interlaken and my daughter wanted to learn choloate manufacturing process nearby station only, and we having 2-3 hours with us before we proceeds to Luzern stay same day, so after many research and talking, lake thun also not suiting nor giessabach falls…so i think only option is either wengen visit and from that church leutrabrunnen valley scenic and back or else interlaken city wandering for 2-3 hours….Sir what you suggest , please suggest with your invaluable advice…thanks and regards

Yes, Wengen is a nice idea – https://www.myswissalp s.com/wengen. Some great mountain views to enjoy during the short time you have available. You could also got o Trummelbach falls, just past Lauterbrunnen. https://www.truemmelba chfaelle.ch/e/
