    Hello!
Just wanted to ask where are oversized luggages stored on trains? Especially if we have like 3 changes in our travel.
Thanks for anyone who would notice.

    Hi Melodsohayam,

Each train car typically has room for luggage at one or both ends. Sometimes it is just an open area and sometimes there is a rack/shelving. In general there will be some area in each train car where you can put your luggage (if you have no space around your seat that is).

It would be useful to post a photo of what it looks like with or without luggage

    Hi Melodsohayam,

I would recommend you to pack light wherever possible, so instead of a large suitcase consider taking a medium suitcase and backpack, and roll your clothes as this creates more space 🙂

Some of the smaller trains (e.g. mountain trains) do not have as much space as some of the interregional or long-distance trains, so something that can be lifted and stored above you on the racks is very practical.

And as Luke says, there is space between carriages, however if it’s a busy time it is more challenging to get one’s suitcase in and out 🙂

So is it possible if our luggage can fit in our legspace. Can we put it there?

Yes, generally you can place luggage underneath the seats, in between seats, on the rack above, or at the end of the carriage, this depends on the train. I have never had an issue with space for luggage on Swiss trains, it just gets more challenging the bigger and heavier your suitcases are!
