I will be in Switzerland in June 2018 with my wife and we will be covering these areas.Zurich, Luzern, Interlaken, Wengen, Zermatt , Samedan and back to Zurich. Could anyone kindly advice what is the best way to handle the luggage when we take trains to the hotels in these locations? We each have one main luggage and wonder if it is easy to drag it along the way into the train stations and onto the trains? Understand there are luggage transfer services but don’t know how it works.Any advice will be much appreciated.

Hi Simage, and welcome to MySwissAlps,

Most people don’t have any issues carrying the luggage with them on the train. There’s enough luggage space.

More about transporting your luggage on Swiss rail can be found here: http://www.myswissalps.com/tr ain/practical/luggage. On this page there’s a link to the SBB website as well where you can search for information per station.
