The most direct route from Milan to Grindelwald can be found by using the Swiss railways timetable here: https://www.myswissalp s.com/timetable – it always gives the most direct route option by default.

Your Swiss Travel Pass will cover the portion of the train within Switzerland only. For trains from Milan, you cross the border at Domodossola (that is where the rail pass kicks in anyway): https://www.myswissalp s.com/swisstravelpass/ validity.

So you need to buy a ticket from Milan to Domodossola: https://www.myswissalp s.com/traintickets/ita ly/price

You can also buy your Swiss Travel Pass online here: https://www.myswissalp s.com/swisstravelpass/ price
It can be emailed to you and printed at home (saving you time at the airport and giving you a copy to print out again in case you lose your pass).
