Hi

I have two questions about Oberland pass

1) We have a Swiss half Fare card and a swiss family card for our child of 13

What the price for the Oberland pass for our kid ? Is it 30 CHF, or Free with the Swiss family card ( like junior card) ?

2) With oberland pass you got free travel to grindelwald and Kleine Schweidegg and Eigergleschter (is it right ?)

To go to jungfraujoch you have to take a special ticket with 50 % reduction (with Swiss Half Card ).

Do you have to take this ticket from Kleine Schweidegg, or from Eigergleschter ?

Thank's for you help

Regards

Welcome to MySwissAlps, miolan!

1) The price is CHF 30: www.myswissalps.com/re gionalpassberneseoberl and/price. The Swiss Family Card is not valid if the parents travel with the Regional-Pass Bernese Oberland.

2) It's free until Kleine Scheidegg, please see the map: www.myswissalps.com/re gionalpassberneseoberl and/validity. From there it's 25% off, or 50% off if you also have a Swiss Half Fare Card. Are you sure you need both passes? Did you do the math?

Thank's for your answer

I made the math :

Without Half Card :

Oberland pass for 8 days = 355 CHF + Jungfraujoch 25% discount = 124*0,75 = 93 CHF total 448 CHF

With Swiss Half Card :

Swiss Half Card : 120 CHF + Oberland Pass 8 days : 255 CHF + Jungfraujoch 50 % discount = 62 CHF Total : 437 CHF Bonus: Swiss family card free for our child and half price tickets if we travel outside Oberland

I am right ?

Hi Miolan,

That seems correct to me, except that the Regional-Pass Bernese Oberland costs CHF 340, not CHF 355. Please follow the links on the first page in Annika's post to find prices.

So it looks like you just need the Regional-Pass Bernese Oberland, unless you are planning to stay in another region as well and use the Swiss Half Fare Card there.

Hi

You're right , my mistake about the price of Oberland pass

Can you confirm me , that the Gondola First at Grindelwald and the Grindelwlad Mannlichen are included in the Oberland Pass ? And ticket for Montreux to Saanen is 50% off, and Saanen to Interlaken is free with the Oberland pass ?

Thank's and regards
