Hi Is there any one-stop-shop (website or app) to buy tickets just a day in advance for Schilthorn, Mannlichen, Brienzer Rothorn, Ride to Grindelwald First, Schynige Platte, Harder Kulm, Gornegrat Railway, Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, Piltus and Stoos... I mean instead of going to all the individual websites.

Hello Mrugeshmk,

Thanks so much for your question.

One option is to research via the "Tickets" tab of each of the mountains that you are interested in visiting. You can do this via the link below. This way, you should be able to narrow down the same resellers. Switzerland Travel Centre (shop.switzerlandtravelcentre.com) and Swiss Activities (www.swissactivities.com) are the ones offering most mountain tickets.

Kind regards,

Yolanda

I would not suggest buying mountain excursions in advance. They are weather dependant. Do not buy tickets to these locations until you are confident of good weather; possibly the night before or the morning of.

Hi hockeyfan,

That's right, it makes sense to wait and see if weather is favorable.

Once the forecasts are reliable, tickets can be bought online on the day(s) before or even on the morning of the trip, as they're delivered by e-mail within minutes. This saves time at the valley stations. Otherwise, getting them on the spot is an option too.
