We traveling for 5 days. Purchasing a STP for for 4 days. Would like to know options for 1st day of travel which will be from Zurich to Interlaken via Lucerne where we want to get off and spend a couple of hours. STP will kick in for days 2 – (Jungfraujoch), day 3 – 4 Zermatt and day 5 Glacier Express to Chur and connect to Zurich.

I would appreciate coaching on ticket purchasing options for that 1st day.

You need either point to point tickets or a Saver Day Pass (http://www.myswissalps.com/on edaytravelpass/details) will probably work out best if you can buy it for best price of CHF52. You need to buy between 30 and 10 days out from travel date to have best chance of getting the right price.

    Hi Bblalok,

You can check point to point prices on the Swiss railways timetable here. The first price you see is for Swiss Half Fare Card travelers – double it to get the regular fare.
