Hi sachin, welcome to MySwissAlps,
During opening hours you certainly can. However, the more convenient and quicker way to buy is to print the pass at home. You can board your first train immediately without visiting a ticket office. To do so, you can go to http://www.swissrailways.com/ en and select “Online Ticket” once they ask for your preferred delivery option. More purchase options are listed here.
Hello Annika,
Thanks for your reply.
1. So i can buy the swiss travel pass at arth goldau railway station? since i could not find the information if i can buy the swiss travel pass at arth goldau(swiss travel pass is available at all manned stations- and i am not aware if arth goldau has service desk available or not 🙁
I am travelling this weekend so i cannot have an option of print out at home as delivery cannot happen 🙂 due to very less time available.

Hi Sachin,
In that case you indeed need to buy locally. I can confirm what Annika wrote: you can buy it in Arth-Goldau. Note that the ticket office closes around 4 PM and they also close during lunch.
Enjoy your stay!
Thanks Arno for the information. i will be reaching arth goldau at 1:45 pm. so i guess the lunch time will be over by then and i can buy the swiss travel pass 🙂
i will be going to rigi kulm from arth goldau. the train is at 2:05pm. i will have 20 minutes to catch the train.
can i buy swiss travel pass and can keep luggage in the locker in 20 minutes? is it very ambitious plan 🙂
You’re welcome sachin. It should be doable in 20 minutes, but I can’t predict how busy it is at any particular place, date and time. If it’s not enough time there will be a next train to catch.
Thanks Arno!
