Purchasing a Swiss Travel Pass – advance time?

    How far in advance must I purchase my STP prior to my trip? Do I need to buy it online or can I buy it when I arrive in Switzerland – Lugano.

    It is much more convenient to purchase on-line and print at home. That way you can use it immediately on arrival in Switzerland (if that makes sense) or from the Swiss border if travelling from an adjoining country. You get a backup PDF and can also print additional copies in case of loss or damage to the original.

    I am in Geneva at this time. I am not able to make a purchase of Swiss travel pass online for 12th May starting till 15th May.(4 Days Pass)

    If you are in Geneva buy one at the train station.
