    Hi,

I was looking at Lake Brienz tickets on http://www.bls.ch/en/fahren/u nterwegs-mit/schiff/billette-und-abos web site and I am a bit confused about it. What is the difference between “2nd class 1/2” and “2nd class 1/1”?

1-day tickets Lakes Thun and Brienz

    1st class 1/2 CHF 51.00

    1st class 1/1 CHF 102.00

    2nd class 1/2 CHF 35.00

    2nd class 1/1 CHF 70.00

    Thanks

The 1/2 price is only if you already possess a Swiss half fare card. Otherwise you will pay the 1/1 price which just means full price.

Read the link I gave you for cost and details. It costs 120 Swiss francs for 1 month.

Oh yes sorry about that confusion. The half fare card is 120 Swiss francs but if you buy the Swiss pass your trips are free.
