Rail pass discounts for Summer, Fall, Winter 2014

There are so many discounts on rail passes right now, that I thought it would be a good idea to list the most interesting ones here. Please remember that rail passes can be validated up to 6 months after purchasing, so you can even save money if you have travel plans for as far as early 2015!

1. € 5 to € 50 off any rail pass order until August 27, 2014. This discount is only available online, not in Switzerland! Available to residents of almost all countries.
2. $50 off all Swiss Passes until September 12, 2014. Again, the discount is not available when purchasing in Switzerland; just online. Available to residents of the USA, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
3. 2 to 5 extra days of traveling with a Eurail Global Pass until late September, 2014. Available to all non-European residents.
