We will be in Switzerland last 2 weeks of September. Should we book reservations for Jungfraujoch and other mountain excursions beforehand or is day of trip okay. We are thinking of the weather but don’t want to miss out because seats not available. Also, is the weather much colder in last weeks of September? Not sure what to pack.

    Hi Sporty56,

At the end of September you won’t have an issue without reservations on Jungfraujoch – most other mountains are reservable.

Weather-wise I’d guess 5 degrees C +/- 10 degrees at the top of Jungfraujoch. Pack one good jacket and then have a few layers to wear as needed.
