Route to drive from Lake Konstance to Wengen

    we have hired a car in Munich and have booked to stay in Wengen.

    We’d like to see Lake Konstance and naturally we have looked at the most direct route from there to Wengen.

    However we have a few days so thought we might go the long way via chur.

    We prefer the smaller roads than the fast toll roads and would prefer more scenic rather than lots of tunnels.

    Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi sirjames –

    If you continue from Chur, the Klausen Pass is an adventure.

    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Klausen_Pass

    I drove it on rainy, cloudy foggy day, and would not do it gain.

    In clear weather, I’d consider it.

    Hello sirjames, welcome to MySwissAlps,

    Will this trip be in summer? If so, all of the passes will be open. Do you know how to drive in the mountains? From Chur, you could take the Oberalp and Susten Pass. Or Oberalp, Furka and Grimsel. You will need to park in Lauterbrunnen because Wengen is car free.
