We are a family of four with one child below 15. We will be doing the Jungfrau trip by train from Interlaken-Ost and back. We will also need a Swiss highway vignette when we drive into Switzerland from germany. Is there a way to get a discount when we buy both the vignette and the train tickets at one point?

Hi kkvenky,

A Swiss Half Fare Card could be interesting if you plan to do more trips than just this one. It provides a 50% discount on the Jungfrau for the adults and your child travels along for free. You can order it along with the vignette through Switzerland Travel Centre.

Thanks for the reply. Due to time constraints, we will most probably doing just the Jungfrau trip. In that case, buying a Half Fare Card, may not be economical. Is that right?

Hello kkvenky. If the Jungfraujoch trip is the only one you'll be making, it's best indeed not to use a pass and just to buy regular tickets. Please mind that you can purchase a Junior Travelcard for the child under 15, as that's cheaper than a discounted Jungfraujoch ticket.
