Hi there – I’m sure this info is out there somewhere but I can’t locate it. If my husband and I both buy the Half Fare Card, which entitles our kids (ages 11 and 13) to free travel, would that include free travel on cable cars, etc. where we (adults) would only get a discount? If we bought the full Swiss Travel Pass, which includes the Schilthorn cable car, would our children travel for free on it too? Many thanks! Kristin

Hello Kristinandco and Welcome to MySwissAlps,

The key to whether your kids travel free is whether you have a Swiss Family Card which is free when ordered with either Swiss Half Fare Card or Swiss Travel Pass.

So if you have a SFC, Schilthorn and all other transport is free for kids.
