Hi, we are in Lucerne at the moment. Was looking forward to show the kids snow, but now it seems there is hardly any snow on Mt Pilatus as well as Mt Titlis. Any suggestions where to take them in this area please?

    Hi Vanessa,

Unfortunately mid-December indeed does not guarantee snow yet in lower elevations. It has been snowing in November, but after that it got warmer so most of it melted. There is definitely snow on Mount Titlis, and a bit around the mid station Trübsee too. Alternatively, you would have to travel to Jungfraujoch, but that’s a very long trip from Lucerne.

    Hi vanessa

it may be too late for you but we did Titlis last week and there was enough snow on top for skiing and also at Trubsee on the way up, we were able to toboggan for free for as long as we wanted. Have fun!
