    Hi,

First of all I would really like to thank you for creating such a wonderful portal having all the information available under one roof related to Swiss travel. It has proven really helpful for me in planning my trip to Switzerland.

I have one question related to Swiss Family pass. We are two families travelling together. Both the families have 2 adults and 2 kids. We have already booked our Swiss Travel Pass.

But we have been issued only one family pass which mentions the name of all the four kids with my name mentioned on the top of pass. So my question is for two of the kids for whom I am not the parent, would the same Family pass would work fine? Do we need to pursue to get one more family pass in which name of two kids along with their parent name is mentioned?

    Thanks

    Saurabh

    Hi Saurabh,

This shouldn’t be a problem as long as the kids travel along with their parents. If you want to take along the other parents’ children, the Swiss Family Card wouldn’t be valid for them as they’re not accompanied by their parents. In such cases, you’d best arrange for two separate Swiss Family Cards, or get the children for whom you’re not the parent a Children’s co-travelcard.
