    Hello,

I will be traveling to Switzerland from 2nd-June to 5th-June. Zurich-Lucerne-Engelburg-Titlis-Interlaken-jungfraujoch are our main destinations. I have brought Swiss Half Fare Card for 4 persons.

    1. Can you please advice me on the Swiss railway ?

I am planning to book all the rail tickets from http://www.sbb.ch/en/home.html.
    2. What are the different types of fare ? eg. 9 O’clock ticket fare

    3. Where I get a online ticket for below mentioned Pilatus tour?
    http://www.pilatus.ch/en/railway-cableways/golden-round-trip/

    4. As per our plan, we are going to reach lucerne by 2:30 PM. Is this possible to complete this Pilatus tour by 6:30 PM ?

Thanks for you help in advance..

Hello sachinnarkar! You need 50% discounted tickets for your trips. The timetable you mention displays half fare prices by default, so that’s the fare you should be looking for. However, pre-booking tickets for your trips really isn’t necessary. My advice is to buy your tickets on the spot at railway stations before boarding the train/cable car. Pre-booked tickets will have dates printed on them, meaning they can only be used that day.

Yes, you will be able to complete your visit to Pilatus within approximately four hours, but do note that the last descend down to Lucerne is by 5:30pm already. Please consult the general timetable and the Pilatus timetable for specifics.

Hello sachin! Yes, your trips look fine and it’s a doable schedule. I still advise not to book your tickets in advance, but if you do want to pre-book them you can do so through the timetable. Just enter a trip, choose a connection, click ‘Fare/Buy’ and follow the steps in the order procedure.

    Hello,

Is there any Left Luggage or Locker facility at Engelburg Railway station ?
We don’t want to come back to Lucerne. We can directly proceed to Interlaken from Titlis(via Engelburg–Hergiswil).

    Please advice.
