You can buy tickets in all the ways you can normally buy tickets for public transport in Switzerland, electronically/online or using a automatic ticket machine.
If buying online just click the right ‘button’ for the ‘half fare’ (as if you were buying for e.g. a child in another country).
You can use the standard automatic ticket machines at all Swiss railway stations, just select the ‘half’ rate when you reach the relevant screen

Hi robinl,
As 1960man suggested, you can buy the discounted tickets online (see https://www.myswissalps.com/traintickets/switzerlandhalffare) or directly from the counter or ticket machines at any SBB station.
Further details about buying tickets online are available here: http://www.myswissalps.com/swisshalffarecard/howtouse (scroll down to Tickets)

thank you! From the sounds of it, I can pre-purchase all my tickets online without needing to queue up at a ticket station?
