Swiss Travel Pass activation

    Hi all,

    well i wanted to know how to activate the Swiss travel pass without being in Switzerland because i’M planning to travel from Milan to Lucerne and want to avail the discount i get from the STP for the train journey. So technically i need to show an active pass to the station authority before i board the train or something like that right ? so please help me with this guys !

    When you buy the pass you nominate the date you want it to start.

    No further activation is required apart from that.

    You just hop on the train or stay on the train if you are crossing the Swiss border at Chiasso on your way to Lucerne and show the Swiss Travel Pass to the inspector on the train.
