Hi nahsa. Yes, that’s possible. Please visit the Swiss Pass and the Swiss Half Fare Card pages and fill out your country of residence in the upper right corner for an overview of purchase options.

    Hi,
    a) I found the below statement in SBB site “Please note the following when ordering your Half-Fare travelcard.
If you order your Half-Fare travelcard approximately 10 days before the valid start date, we will require a good quality passport photo on photographic paper. We will digitalise this and save it for 10 years (5 years for those under the age of 25) and it will be used exclusively for travelcards. If you renew your Half-Fare travelcard, we will automatically use the saved photo.”. Since i will be buying the card in the station, do i need to bring passport size photo along?
    b) Silly question…Swiss pass is for 4 days, but if i only intend to stay only 2 days, would that be allowed to use as well?

Hello nahsa. The statement on the SBB website is meant for the 1/2/3 year Half-Fare Travelcard, which is a variant for Swiss residents. You don’t need a photo for your 1 month Swiss Half Fare Card.

Yes, you are allowed to use your Swiss Pass only 2 out of the 4 days. You do have to pay for the full 4 days though, so I don’t know whether that’s cost effective.

Thanks Annika. I’ll remember to do costing before purchasing the pass 🙂
