Hi

I need your help to ascertain if I should go for swiss pass or not?

My trip starts from Zurich (half day in city) then travel to Interlaken and go to jungfrau. then travel to Zermatt and see Matternhorn. Later travel to Montreux and Geneva to travel back to home town.

I have got cost for all trips except Jungfrau and trip to Matterhorn. Could any please confirm what will be cost of these with Swiss Pass, Half Pass and without a pass?

Thanks for you help

Regards

Sadaqat

Hi Sadaqat,

Thanks for your first post here! Please note the pass is called Swiss Travel Pass. A Swiss Pass does exist but it's a different product and not for tourists (see here).

I would estimate the Jungfraujoch trip to cost CHF 100 with a Swiss Half Fare Card, CHF 125 with a Swiss Travel Pass and CHF 200 without a pass. I guess the trip to the Matterhorn (not sure which exact trip you mean) is around CHF 40 with either pass and CHF 80 without a pass.

Links to prices can be found here:

You may have used this page already, but just in case here are the instructions on how to find the cheapest pass: myswissalps.com/ train/ticketspasses/ practical/ chooserailpass.

Be sure to carefully check the retailers. It pays off to buy online: myswissalps.com/ swisstravelpass/ price.
