    Hi Team,

Looking at buying my STP online which im getting at 418CHF per adult on most of the sites listed on ure site…… My query is, should i buy this online or buy it once i reach zurich. Will there be a difference in the rate at zurich.

Even many have suggested to book the excursion tickets once v r there keeping in mind the climate changes. Ure opinion on this please…How would be the overall climate in the month of april. Super Foggy or clear skies.

    Awaiting reply

    Kajal

    Hi Kaju

You can buy the Swiss Travel Pass online in advance or upon arrival in Switzerland, both options are ok. However the prices are the same, as you can see using the following link:

Buying it in advance, however, might be the easier option as you have your ticket ready right from the beginning and can also avoid possible waiting times at counters in Switzerland.

Regarding the season and recommendations for each of them this link will support you: http://www.myswissalps.com/be sttimetovisit

It is best to buy the STP on-line and print at home. You can use it on arrival and carry a backup copy.

Weather is unpredictable in April. Just starting Spring at lower altitudes. Still winter higher in the Alps. See http://www.myswissalps.com/be sttimetovisit.

Certainly do not plan mountain excursions until you know the weather is favourable. You really need a flexible itinerary which includes backup options for poor weather days.
