Get daily forum questions & answers by e-mailWe would like to take the 9:09 AM train from Zurich to Venice, as it does not require a train change. Will our Swiss Travel Pass be valid? From which station do we have to have a ticket for the Italian part of the journey. For some reason, the SBB mobile website will not allow me to buy a ticket or make a reservation. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

The Swiss Travel Pass only covers the portion of your trip with Switzerland. So that would be Chiasso on the Swiss-Italian border. From there on to Venice you need a ticket, which normally includes a seat reservation: http://www.myswissalps.com/tr aintickets/italy/price
