Swiss Travel Pass discounts – worth waiting for?

    We are 4 adults visiting Switzerland in June. Is it worth waiting for a discount offer to purchase an 8 consecutive day first class pass? Thank you.

    Hi Travelbug53,

    It’s hard to answer that question. The promotions for next year, if any, are not published yet. Right now, there are two options:

    • Buy your pass before Christmas as rates in non-CHF currencies are low. I expect prices to rise soon. All options are listed here. In your case specifically, you can take a look at http://www.raileurope-world.com/pass/swiss-travel-pass-82.
    • Hope for good promotions in 2016. We’ll post about them in the forum as soon as they’re available, and we’ll also list them here.
