Now we are in Milan. We ( 2adults+ 1 child of 6years) are going to switzerland on 23rd April 2011 by Eurail select pass.We shall be there for 3 nights and 4 days. Can we use the same pass for travelling within switzerland? We r going to stay at Luzern. Can you suggest some budget hotels or appartments?

Hi charuta. That depends on the countries you selected when purchasing your Eurail Select Pass, as it's valid for 3 to 5 countries of your choice. If your Eurail Select Pass is valid for Switzerland, it covers traveling on the national railway network and discounts on some private railway companies. The Eurail Select Pass page offers more details.

The Hotel Etap Luzern City is relatively cheap and close to the railway station of Lucerne. Please refer to our hotel page and apartment page for further accommodation. These tips on budget travel may help you out as well.
