hey there

I'll buy a tell pass, I want to take a boat trip on Lake Brienz

It is written that this trip is (without discount), what does it mean?

Do I have to pay for this trip?

is it better to buy a tell pass before the trip in a few days ?????

My daughter is 16 years and two months old,is she considered an adult?????

The Tell Pass is not valid on Lake Brienz. Lake Brienz is at the very edge of the 'Central Switzerland' remit of the Tell Pass.

Every route with a solid line on the Tell Pass map will be 'free' once you have got the valid Pass.

Hi Ayedlaham,

You cannot use your Tell Pass Summer for a boat trip on Lake Brienz, please find the validity map of the Tell Pass here: www.myswissalps.com/tellpass/validity. There are other passes (like the Swiss Travel Pass) that include the boat trip on Lake Brienz for free. If you let us know your whole itinerary we can help you better to find the best rail pass.

I like to sort out all these kinds of 'duties' like buying the passes in advance, so I do not have to get in the line at the station. That saves time for you. You can buy it here: www.myswissalps.com/tellpass/price.

As your child is already 16 years old, she has to get a pass as an adult. The Swiss Family Card and the Junior Travel Card are only for children between 6-15 years old. I am sorry.
