Hello, just a clarification question. If we are spending 3 days in the Mürren, Wengen, Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen area do we need to purchase the 3 day Swiss Train pass or the Jungfrau travel pass? I know then we will have to purchase cable car tickets but we will get a disco on those and do you buy those once you get there?

    thank you

    Hello Amyirwinblac,

The answer to your question does depend on your detailed itinerary. With the Swiss Travel Pass the journey arriving to the Bernese Oberland is included, with only the Jungfrau Travel Pass you would need an additional ticket to get to the Jungfrau Region:

I believe that for the short stay you’re planning you would be best off with the Swiss Travel Pass. For detailed calculations please use the spreadsheet provided below:

For some of the destinations in the area, like e.g. the Jungfraujoch, etc. you can buy the discounted tickets in advance online, on others you’ll have to get them upon arrival.
