    Hi Kzee,

    Welcome to MySwissAlps.

Thanks for your question.  For your journey, Geneva airport to Lauterbrunnen, this will take you approximately 3 and a half hours.  There will be train changes along the way.  You can research and plan your journey with the Swiss timetable:  https://www.myswissalps.com/travel/public-transport/timetable/

In case you need additional information on Geneva airport and Lauterbrunnen:

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards,

A few additional thoughts to Yolanda’s advice above:

The best way could be the fastest way, the way with the least number of transfers or the most scenic route, depending on what is most important to you.

The fastest options take around 3.5 hours, mostly with 2 transfers. The SBB timetable will bring these up by default.

The most scenic option is probably the Goldenpass route, which would take 5.5 hours or a bit more, with 2, 3 or 4 transfers. You will need to tinker with the timetable by putting in “via Montreux” and “via Zweisimmen” to bring these options up.

A lot will depend on when you are travelling, especially what time of day you will depart Geneva Airport.
