I’ll be staying in Interlaken when I visit switzerland in Sept. With a swiss travel pass, can I travel from Interlaken to Brig and stop at Chur. Thereafter, from Chur to Zurich to Bern and back to Interlaken on the same day.

1) Does the swiss travel pass cover this entire journey for free. 2) Do I need to make any bookings, or can I just board the train with my swiss travel pass.

All of that is included for free, unless you want to travel on the Glacier Express (you need to buy a seat reservation then). Please see the map here: http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass/validity. You do not need bookings, apart from the Swiss Travel Pass itself. It can be printed at home: http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass/price.
