travel tips required

Hi,

I with 2 my friend will be travelling to swiss from 6oct to 9oct 2014.

We will take a train from Paris on 6oct to Geneva(reach around 1030am) and plan to buy a swisspass on the spot from the station.Is it ok to do like that?and will the price be the same as buy online or different?

We will stay in Thun(reach around 230pm) from 6 oct till 9 oct

and on 9 oct morning we will travel to Italy.

Could you give me some tips about places to visit during our stay?It seem a little bit hard to cover many places because our time is quite limited.
