My research on SBB timetable indicates that we will have to get on and off 5 times (with luggage) from Zermatt to Wengen. Are there fewer stops on another route? Also, with the Swiss Travel Pass Flex I assume that we just show our pass to the conductor since it seems to be all 2nd class and no reservations are required. Right? Thanks.

    Hi Swede4life,

The SBB online timetable is programmed to show you the fastest available route unless you specify a via-location. Taking your luggage along shouldn’t be a problem. Trains usually have space to store luggage in each coach, either next to the door for big luggage or overhead and between seats for smaller pieces. Alternatively it is possible to transport your luggage ahead of you for a fee. Please find more details about how to use the train and how to transport your luggage from the links below:

And yes, there is no need to make seat reservation for this journey and be sure your Swiss Travel Pass Flex is valid.

    Regards,

    Anna
