Unfortunately it onpossible to tell what the weater is on the Jungfrau next week, let alone in Oktober when it is autumn almost winter in Switserland.
There is always snow on Jungfrau, also in the summer. With snow it is always cold, below zero.
The problem on Jungfrau is not the cold and the snow, but the view. It can be very cloudy.

Hello Nulnata,
We’ve been in Switzerland in October and it was awesome! Of course, and Brahms is right here, one can never tell. Maybe this http://www.myswissalps.com/we ather can help a bit. We visited Jungfrau during our autumn vacation and had fantastic views. Of course that’s no guarantee.
I would say: just go, and keep an eye on weather conditions plans as short as possible before you go somewhere. If the one special top you would like to see seems not to be a good idea, there will be something else to do or see.
Don’t ever let the weather – especially so long before you go – withold you!

Hi Sulnata-
I like to visit Switzerland in October..Early October is better, so you have chosen well.
Bring a windbreaker or shell, and a couple of layers.
In Switzerland, weather is highly dependent on altitude.
The lower elevations will be generally pleasant. Higher altitudes may be cold.
The trip to Jungfraujoch at high altitude is mostly indoors…not so cold.
For temperatures, use the internet and seek “Average temperatures in XXXX.” and similar search terms.
