Only the $10 discount is still available. The promo codes for the higher discounts have been used up.

The promo is still on the pages mentioned in my first post. Are you sure you ordered for at least $400?

I just noticed your other post. So you did have $400 in your cart. I’ll ask Rail Europe what’s going on.

    Hi sjenne,

Which passes and for how many travelers were you buying? Was it two 3-day Swiss Travel Passes for 2 adults? According to Rail Europe the code should still work. I just tried and it did work for me.

    Hi there,

Thanks for asking! I got the Swiss pass for a family of 4, which is 2 adults and 2 children under 16 traveling with their parents for free. I got the 4 day pass, 2nd class, and the base price was EUR 408 (2 x 204), and then add on a EUR 8 processing fee and EUR 12 shipping fee for a total of EUR 428 (no option to print tickets). That would be great if someone there wants to issue us a credit!

    regards,

    Steve

    Hi again,

Actually, I think I know the reason why the code wouldn’t work, and now i’m concerned 🙁 Anikka nicely provided me the site http://www.raileurope-world.com/pass/swiss-pass on my other post “20% off pass discount is over. Will itreturn?”, probably assuming I lived in Europe, as that site defaults in Euros. Also, I see at the top of that site, it says ‘other countries’, including where we are from (United States). I didn’t see that or think to look for a United States-specific site. When I try to book the same tickets at the USA site, it gives a base price of almost $100 more! The ones I purchased at the above link were for 428 EUR, which is about $466, but the USA site quotes $562! The above site did let me book the tickets just fine and allowed me to put in a US mailing address. Should I be concerned about this? Thanks,

    Steve

    Hi Steve,

No worries, both http://www.raileurope.com and http://www.raileurope-world.c om sell to the US. On http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass/price, we only list sites that actually sell to the country of residence of whoever is visiting that page.

The promotion discussed in this thread is only being offered by the two websites I mentioned in my initial post. The promo code does not work on other sites, so that explains it. But it looks like you picked the best point of sale anyway, so all is fine.

    Enjoy your trip to Switzerland!
